Tamika Haynes is a Neuropsychologist specializing in Traumatic Brain Injury, Stroke and Epilepsy. She graduated with an undergraduate degree in Psychology in the first cohort of psychology majors from the University of the West Indies. She went on to complete an accelerated MSc. in cognitive science at the University of Birmingham in England where she conducted research in movement disorders on behalf of NASA at the Human movement and balance unit in Queens Square, London, England. She completed two post-doctoral fellowships in Neuropsychology at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia and Yale University, New Haven, Connecticut specializing in epilepsy, movement disorders and surgical evaluations.

Dr. Haynes has an extensive history of working with the military in providing neuropsychological assessments, rehabilitation and assisting with medical boarding reviews.

She has conducted research on epilepsy, Functional MRI, PTSD, Schizophrenia and studies on the effects of psilocybin assisted group psychotherapy for major depression, anxiety and PTSD with Psyence.

She conducts neuropsychology clinics in the USA and throughout the Caribbean. She has a wealth of expertise and experience in the mental health systems across the Caribbean and is an internationally renowned expert witness in mental health in Canada, the USA and England.
